Survey & Estimate – The first steps to your new adventure

It’s important to have a survey done to accurately estimate the volume of the goods to be moved since the removal cost will be based on this, however If you are short on time and if your move is relatively small you can inform us the list of items to be moved over the phone or e-mail

The benefit of having a survey done is that you will be able to meet us in person before the removal and ask us questions about the moving process. During the survey you can point out to us what items you wish to take with you to your new home and if you want quotes for different options. We will also be abl e to recommend if any items need special packing. Based on the surveyed volume we will be able to quote for the best and most economical method of shipment – via Sea, Air or Road or perhaps a combination of all three!

Packing & Shipping – We get it Right

Getting the packing right is an important step. A poorly packed shipment will be a wasted opportunity and will likely increase changes of damages. At Leader we make the best use of our packing materials to properly protect your shipment. Once you have decided on the removal date, a team of highly skilled packers will arrive to your residence and commence the removal. Our well researched and internationally accepted packing materials will be used to protect the shipment are where agreed a wooden crate will be used to protect fine arts and fragile items. All packages will be numbered and a packing list prepared.

If you wish to pack some personal effects yourself before the removal, we can arrange for cartons and packing supplies delivery. Please contact us for details.

Delivery

We will appoint a Destination Agent to arrange for completing the removal. The agent will coordinate all the import formalities and organize for customs clearance and delivery to your new home or storage if your new home is not ready. Our destination agents are moving companies with who we have been working with for many years and International Association of Movers (IAM) members. They are familiar with the customs regulations and culture and will be able to give you the same level of service as here in UAE.

Insurance

Movement of household goods can be risky even though we take care to protect your property. Risks beyond our control such as fire, theft, accident, damages and breakages can happen and its highly recommended that you should have an insurance policy to cover you against these risks. There are 3 types of insurance policy:

• Total Loss Insurance
• Excess Baggage Insurance
